Cheshire Training Academy – Booking Terms & Conditions.
Cheshire Training Academy – Course Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Course Bookings
By purchasing a course with Cheshire Training Academy (CTA), learners confirm that they have reviewed the course description, qualification details, entry requirements, fees and applicable booking terms.
Learners are responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring they meet the stated entry requirements. CTA reserves the right to request evidence of previous qualifications where applicable.
2. Course Fees and Payments
Course fees must be paid in accordance with the payment arrangements agreed at booking.
Payments may be made through approved providers, including Stripe, Klarna and PayPal.
Learners choosing a third-party instalment provider are responsible for managing their payment agreement with that provider.
3. Cancellation, Refunds and Transfers
All bookings are subject to CTA's Course Cancellation, Refund & Transfer Policy, provided at checkout.
Course bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law or expressly agreed by CTA.
Where a learner cancels outside applicable statutory cancellation rights, reasonable and legally recoverable cancellation costs may apply.
These may include evidenced administration costs, non-recoverable awarding-body registration fees and third-party payment processing charges, where lawful.
Any deductions will be fair, proportionate and explained in writing. No charges will be deducted from refunds where prohibited by law.
4. Attendance and Course Completion
Learners are expected to attend scheduled training sessions, complete required assessments and meet the awarding organisation's qualification requirements.
Regulated qualifications may have minimum attendance, practical assessment and examination requirements.
Successful completion and certification depend on meeting the relevant qualification standards and are not guaranteed by payment of course fees.
5. Course Dates and Changes
CTA will make reasonable efforts to deliver training on the advertised dates.
Where changes are necessary, learners will be informed as soon as reasonably practicable.
Any significant changes, cancellations or failure to provide the agreed training will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
6. Learner Conduct
Learners are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards tutors, staff, fellow learners and treatment models.
CTA may take proportionate action where serious misconduct or safety concerns arise, following a fair review of the circumstances.
Any resulting refund entitlement will be assessed in accordance with consumer law.
7. Online Learning and Course Materials
Where online learning materials are included, learners will receive access in accordance with their course arrangements.
Course materials remain the intellectual property of CTA or their respective owners and must not be reproduced, distributed or shared without permission.
Any statutory cancellation rights relating to online services or digital content will be respected.
8. Complaints
Learners may raise concerns or complaints directly with CTA.
Complaints will be reviewed fairly in accordance with our complaints procedure and applicable awarding-body requirements.
9. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts any statutory rights available under UK consumer protection legislation.
Where these terms conflict with applicable law, statutory rights will take precedence.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking, learners acknowledge the terms made available to them before purchase.
CTA recommends that learners retain a copy of their booking confirmation and the applicable terms and conditions.
