Course Cancellation, Refund & Transfer Policy

All course bookings made with Cheshire Training Academy are subject to our booking terms and conditions.

Course bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law or expressly agreed by Cheshire Training Academy.

For qualifying online or distance bookings, learners generally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period. Where a full statutory refund is due, no administration or processing fees will be deducted.

For voluntary cancellations outside applicable statutory cancellation rights, reasonable cancellation charges may apply, subject to consumer protection legislation. These may include evidenced administration costs, non-recoverable awarding-body registration fees and third-party payment processing costs, where legally recoverable.

Any cancellation charge will be fair and proportionate, taking account of CTA's actual losses, costs saved and the opportunity to fill the course place. No automatic or punitive cancellation fees will apply.

Course transfers are subject to availability, eligibility and written approval from Cheshire Training Academy.

Where CTA cancels a course, learners will receive the refund or alternative arrangements to which they are legally entitled.

Refunds for purchases made through Klarna, Stripe or PayPal will normally be processed through the original payment provider.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Cheshire Training Academy.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
